About twice needle detection

Hashima recommends using either two single-head types or a two-head type to avoid missing detection due to differences in response values caused by differences in needle tip entry direction.

Twice needle detection by single needle detector

●An operator stands between the single needle detectors for twice needle detection and changes the direction of the product to the sensor.
Furthermore, if the needle detectors are installed in an L-shape, the directions of the product can be easily changed by 90°.

※However, in some cases, with single needle detectors, directions cannot be changed depending on the length of the product.

※The HR-5050N can be used to automatically turn over items.

One-time needle detection by two-head needle detector

Although it is not possible to change the direction of the product or to turn it over,  the different front and rear sensor head angles can reduce directional misses.
